Maxs' Farewell

I may be bios but truly Maxs' Farewell talk was one of the most amazing, mature and spiritual talks I've ever heard. He sounded more like a missionary that had just come home off his mission rather than one that was just leaving. I felt the spirit so strong and I knew my mom was smiling over him and was so very proud of her baby boy. We are very lucky to have Sam around. She worked so hard to get this day ready for him... with the food and all the preparations and then getting everything he needs for his mission and just doing all the things a mom knows to do. She really has gone above and beyond the call of duty and I know my mom is forever so very grateful to her! His farewell turned out awesome and it was so nice to have everyone there supporting him. Here are a bunch of pics I took at the house afterwards. I know everyone probably gets so annoyed with my camera in their face but one day they'll thank me. Love you so much Max! Go give em' Heaven!!!!

I was able to go with Sam and my Dad to drop him off at the MTC. That is torture!!! You no longer can go inside with them. It's curbside now. For real!! Just pull up to the curb, the missionaries take his stuff, you hug him and he's gone. Ugh!! Such a bittersweet feeling. It was pretty cute to see my dad try to hold together and be so proud of Max and then let him go for two years. I truly have theeee most amazing dad in the world. See you in two years Maximus!!

Wow, I can't believe Max is old enough to be going on a mission. He was so little when I moved away. I hope you had a Merry Christmas.
